But since I reset my mobile, I missed out to save this guy's number whom I bought about 10 kilos of kurma last year. So I did posted and 'blast' to every (chosen) Whatsapp groups to seek help from my colleagues. None of them replied initially, then someone PM-ed me and told me that he could helped me and offer to ask anybody he knows regarding dates.
I was happy, though I have expected this same person to help me, as always. ddd

This same person also offered to deliver this kurma right to my place. And the amount for 5 kilos of (good) dates stated RM115. But then again he assured me that the price offer will be cheaper since I am going to use it for my research.
Then the time arrived. We met at a mosque nearby Bangi, and he handed me my kurma. Then he asked about my research and I told him briefly. The time to pay. Okay, so I asked him how much is the price.
So he answered, "Ikut la nak bayar berapa."
I was not convinced with his answer. I probably paid RM5 to kid my friend, but obviously I cannot do that to him. Heh.
Then I asked him again. He looked 'restless'. Finally he said, "Ok berapa harga sebenar? RM115."
To my acknowledge, I only got RM111 in my purse! And I still have gut to ask him the REAL price??
Then I stuck. Actually I just want to pay lower than the price itself, as he mentioned them before. But maybe ego took over, I bargained. There you go, he ask for the real price.
I should have just paid him, or tell him that I am having less at that moment.
So that was my story. I learnt from him that not every people has the ability and the gut to bargain. We can't demand too much from people.
When people do kind, let's just accept it. Embrace. Appreciate. And do not forget to be grateful too.
I learnt a lot from him. As always. Allah has His own plans for me.
And for people whom I meet.
Alhamdulillah.
xoxo
Anis.
